Ingredients

  • Water 5 l
  • Salt 3.5 tsp
  • Penne 500 g
  • Olive Oil 1 tbsp
  • Hungarian sausage 300 g sliced
  • Garlic 3 clove crushed/minced
  • Hot Pepper 1 little bit
  • Red Wine 150 ml
  • Tomato 400 g canned cut in pieces
  • Brown Sugar 1 tsp
  • Pepper 0.5 tsp
  • Crème Fraîche 200 g
  • Basil 1 bunch chopped
  • Parmesan 50 g

Steps

  1. boil up Water 5 l in large pot
  2. add Salt 3 tsp Penne 500 g
  3. cook until it softens
  4. drain in colander
  5. in the meantime heat up Olive Oil 1 tbsp in large pan
  6. add Hungarian sausage 300 g sliced
  7. fry medium heat 3 min
  8. add Garlic 3 clove crushed/minced
  9. add Hot Pepper 1 little bit optional
  10. fry 2 min
  11. add Red Wine 150 ml
  12. cook low heat 4 min
  13. add Tomato 400 g canned cut in pieces Brown Sugar 1 tsp
  14. boil up
  15. cook low heat 10 min
  16. in the meantime add Salt 0.5 tsp Pepper 0.5 tsp more if needed
  17. add Crème Fraîche 200 g Basil 1 bunch chopped
  18. mix Pasta Sauce
  19. sprinkle with Parmesan 50 g when serving
