Hungarian Hunter's Stew, a traditional recipe. It can be made with any kind of meat, but the neck of pork is probably the best choice. Served with napkin dumplings, pasta or any side.

Ingredients

  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Pepper 1 tbsp
  • Paprika Powder 1 tbsp
  • Delikát Spice Mix 1 tbsp
  • Bay Leaf 1 tbsp milled/ground
  • Carrot 12 pc sliced
  • Parsley Root 4 pc sliced
  • Neck of Pork 12 slice
  • Mustard 180 ml
  • Water 2 l
  • Sour Cream 100 ml

Steps

  1. mix Salt 1 tbsp Pepper 1 tbsp Paprika Powder 1 tbsp Delikát Spice Mix 1 tbsp Bay Leaf 1 tbsp milled/ground
  2. put Carrot 3 pc sliced Parsley Root 1 pc sliced in large pot evenly
  3. put on it Neck of Pork 4 slice evenly
  4. smear with Mustard 60 ml evenly
  5. sprinkle with Spices 1/3
  6. put on it Carrot 3 pc sliced Parsley Root 1 pc sliced evenly
  7. put on it Neck of Pork 4 slice evenly
  8. smear with Mustard 60 ml evenly
  9. sprinkle with Spices 1/3
  10. put on it Carrot 3 pc sliced Parsley Root 1 pc sliced evenly
  11. put on it Neck of Pork 4 slice evenly
  12. smear with Mustard 60 ml evenly
  13. sprinkle with Spices 1/3
  14. put on it Carrot 3 pc sliced Parsley Root 1 pc sliced evenly
  15. add Water 2 l approx enough to cover
  16. cook covered until it softens while stirring carefully eventually
  17. remove Meat
  18. blend rest with hand blender until mixed evenly
  19. add Sour Cream 100 ml optional
  20. add Meat
