Ingredients

  • Sugar 5 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 3 tsp
  • Plum 20 pc
  • Potato 1 kg peeled cut into cubes/diced
  • Flour 350 g
  • Egg Yolk 1 pc
  • Water 5 l
  • Pork Fat 2 tsp
  • Breadcrumb 150 g
  • Powdered Sugar 50 g

Steps

  1. mix Sugar 5 tbsp Cinnamon 2 tsp
  2. cut Plum 20 pc in half
  3. seed
  4. fill Sugar Mix in the holes
  5. cook Potato 1 kg peeled cut into cubes/diced until it softens
  6. drain
  7. put Potato on kneading board
  8. mash with potato mascher
  9. cool completely
  10. sprinkle with Flour 300 g
  11. add Egg Yolk 1 pc
  12. knead until dough comes together
  13. add Flour 50 g if needed
  14. roll (stretch) Dough divide if needed
  15. cut in squares 8x8 cm
  16. put on it Plum 1 / piece
  17. form Dumplings
  18. boil up Water 5 l more if needed
  19. add Dumplings
  20. cook high heat until floating on surface
  21. remove Dumplings
  22. heat up Pork Fat 2 tsp in large pan
  23. add Breadcrumb 150 g
  24. fry until it gets goldenbrown
  25. add Cinnamon 1 tsp Powdered Sugar 50 g
  26. dip Dumplings
