Ingredients

  • Oil 15 tbsp
  • Milk 15 tbsp
  • Sugar 15 tbsp
  • Egg 2 pc
  • Baking Soda 1.5 tsp
  • Honey 5 tbsp
  • Flour 750 g
  • Milk 750 ml
  • Sugar 375 g
  • Semolina 150 g
  • Butter 375 g room temperature
  • Plum Jam 400 g
  • Powdered Sugar 3 tbsp

Steps

    Cake Sheet

  1. mix Oil 15 tbsp Milk 15 tbsp Sugar 15 tbsp Egg 2 pc Baking Soda 1.5 tsp Honey 5 tbsp in medium pot
  2. cook medium heat until it foams
  3. remove from heat
  4. cool
  5. add Flour 750 g
  6. knead until dough comes together
  7. divide Dough in 4 parts
  8. roll (stretch) Dough every piece 30x40 cm
  9. prick Dough with fork every piece
  10. bake every piece 175 °C preheated in oven (top and bottom) 14 min approx until it browns
  11. cool

    Filling

  1. mix Milk 750 ml Sugar 375 g
  2. cook medium heat until it melts
  3. add Semolina 150 g gradually while stirring
  4. cook until it thickens
  5. cool completely covered with aluminum foil
  6. mix
  7. add Butter 375 g room temperature
  8. mix until mixed evenly

    Assembly

  1. take Cake Sheet 1 pc
  2. smear with Filling 1/2
  3. put on it Cake Sheet 1 pc
  4. smear with Plum Jam 400 g
  5. put on it Cake Sheet 1 pc
  6. smear with Filling 1/2
  7. put on it Cake Sheet 1 pc
  8. rest covered in cling wrap in fridge until it softens
  9. sprinkle with Powdered Sugar 3 tbsp optional
  10. cut into pieces when serving
