Ingredients

  • Water 2.5 l
  • Salt 2 tbsp
  • Pork Knuckle 1.5 kg
  • Whole Grain Mustard 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Paprika Powder 0.5 tsp
  • Salt 0.5 tsp
  • Yellow Onion 1 pc cut in pieces
  • Beer 200 ml

Steps

  1. add Water 2.5 l Salt 2 tbsp Pork Knuckle 1.5 kg in large pot
  2. cook 1 h
  3. remove Meat
  4. sear Meat skin and fat
  5. mix Whole Grain Mustard 1 tbsp Oil 2 tbsp Paprika Powder 0.5 tsp Salt 0.5 tsp
  6. put Yellow Onion 1 pc cut in pieces in baking tray
  7. put on it Meat
  8. smear with Mixture
  9. put on it Beer 100 ml
  10. bake 200 °C 1 h
  11. in the meantime put on it Beer 100 ml with own sauce when needed
